Double Trouble For Kevin Taylor; Daddy Fred Charges IGP Dampare To Cause His Arrest

Kevin Taylor aside from being threatened by a lawsuit from the Assin Central legislator, Kennedy Agyapong, could soon be arrested by the Ghana Police Service. The self-styled broadcast journalist has since been on a wanted list by the Police after an Accra High Court issued a warrant for his arrest over an extreme, scandalous and contemptuous statement he made against the court and the entire judiciary administration.

In his editorial today on the Announcer Newspaper page on Facebook, Daddy Fred questioned why the police have since last year when the warrant was issued, been unable to arrest Kevin Taylor. He noted that it is unpardonable for the police to have relaxed on such a crime committed against respected institutions, and especially the President.

He charged the acting Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to revisit this case and empower his officers to pursue Kevin Taylor from his hideout in Alexandria, Virginia in the United States of America.

Daddy Fred stated that this case will worsen the situation for Kevin Taylor as the Assin Central lawmaker has already taken steps to sue him for defamation and libel. He noted that arresting Kevin Taylor shouldn’t be a problem as his address could be traced easily in the United States.

“You are wanted by the police. The court has issued an arrest warrant for you long ago. You cannot hide for long. Your cup is full.

“Ghana security I am surprised that you have failed to arrest this man. He is in Alexandria, Virginia, and insulting people in Ghana. The IGP has to do something about this. We cannot allow this man to go about insulting the President and any respected person of this nation anyhow,” he said.

Daddy Fred disclosed that just after his interview with Kennedy Agyapong yesterday, his lawyers had convened and taken notes for the preparation of writ against Kevin Taylor. He added that another meeting was held today to conclude on the decision and that Kevin Taylor would soon be served.

“Kennedy Agyapong has already his lawyers. Today they have added another lawyer and after this, they are heading to the court.,” said Daddy Fred
