Man beaten to death by ‘sex workers’ after refusing to pay

At Sunyani-Newtown in the Bono Region, a man in his early 30s was beaten to death by people suspected of being commercial sex workers. 

After using the sex workers' services, the man, who has not been identified, is said to have refused to pay them.

After one sex worker refused to be paid, the others were summoned in to ‘punish' him, according to local radio station Nimdee FM

They savagely beaten him until he passed out.

According to local radio station Nimdee FM, after one sex worker refused to be paid, the others were summoned to "punish" him. 

The Sunyani District Police were notified, and one of the sex workers and the landlord, who is claimed to be physically challenged, were arrested to assist with the investigation. 

The house where the incident occurred has been secured since then. 

The deceased's body was taken to the Sunyani Regional Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
