It’s seems the whole of Accra has been affected by the rain and as a country this isn’t something which is suppose to be happening anytime it rains. Flooding in the country is not something new and over the years it seems nothing has been done about about this tragic constant flooding incident in the country.
The rain began in the late hours yesterday through out to today, it lasted for about 10 hours and the results we are seeing is not something to write home about. Areas most affected by the rain are Accra, Circle, Kasoa, Tema, Alajo, Achimota, Ofankor, SCC, Circle Neoplan station, Adabraka, Lapaz, Pokuase among other areas. Let’s check out pictures of some areas after the rain.

This is really disturbing and disheartening as we are excepted to see more rains in the raining season. NADMO has reached out to the victims of those affected and has promised to support them in this hard times.
