
The Overlord of Dagbon, His Majesty Yaa Naa Abubakari has reacted to recent arrest of some youth in Tamale by the Police.
The arrest follows a misunderstanding between some youth in Tamale and the Police after some residents were brutalise for alleged illegal power connections.

But, in a press release by the Yaa Naa on October 1st, he indicated that, he is currently in discussions with the Police and the Regional Cordinating Council to find solution to the unpasse.
He further advice the youth to desist from any action that will disturb the peace in the area.
The release also appeal to people who are engaged in illegal power connections in Tamale and other surrounding communities to stop the act.
He however asked the Volta River Authority (VRA), to consider the social and economic circumstances in the area in dealing with the people.
He asked the Police and other security agencies to stop the arrest of the youth in Tamale for sanity to prevail.
He thanked the Police Service for maintaining law and order in the Dagbon State.
