Crime check TV Gh has revealed that a lady called Adofowaa sells tomatoes at the Nkawkaw market and her dream in life has been to become a police officer, but she knew it was going to be difficult because of her poor WASSCE grades.
But a police officer at the Tesano Police Training school convinced her he could put her on a protocol list only if she could part with five thousand Ghana cedis (¢5,000).
She went in for a loan and gave it to him only for the officer to ask for another eight thousand cedis (¢8,000), then She smelled a rat.
According to Crime check TV Gh, they did a follow up at the Police Training school only to find out that the police officer has defrauded so many people.
"Let us not fall for these miscreants within the security services. If your grades are bad, pls better them before applying" they advised applicants in the country not to become a victim.
A lot of Ghanaians are angry at the incident and said "This is why most of we the youth are still unemployed because whether good grades or not they demand bribe. Those doing that to we the innocent people will have no peace even on the next generation, as I speak so shall it be. Amen".
"If it had went well like no one will hear about it and she will be on the road and streets abusing drivers and ordinary Ghanaians with the uniform. Wise up next time".
"Those who know the law are those breaking it a lot. A police officer named Frimpong Frederick took money from my sister and I and even when we call him he does not pick. Frimpong, Nyame b3tua woka paa. If you care to know I'm still paying the loan I went for".
