Today Is My Son’s Birthday But He Is Dead: Father Of Victim In Abesim Fridge Storage Killing Cries

The mark left by Richard Appiah in the heart of the Asuamah Family in Abesim has not been erased. Parents of the fifteen-year-old Stephen Sarpong who was killed at Abesim have once again recounted how they are missing their son. Today happens to be his birthday and he is not around to enjoy his party.

If he was alive, he would have turned sixteen today and that has brought sorrow in their hearts. Mr. Asuama Yeboah, the father of Stephen Sarpong has revealed that he has stopped eating red meat since his son was killed. According to him in an interview with Oheneba Media monitored by BeaNana, he saw the disseminated body parts of his son in the fridge of Richard Appiah and that has caused him serious memories making him become an enemy to red meat.

Mr. Asuama Yeboah used to be a lover of red meat when his son was alive but soon after he saw the body parts of his son in the fridge, he has stopped coming into contact with his favorite delicacy. This can be very heartbreaking to the father of the young boy because even after his death months ago, he has refused to forget about the pain his son went through.

Another sad aspect of the issue is that he has not been in court before to follow on the case to know what is happening. The police have since dedicated a liaison person to the family who always updates them on the court proceedings. Another sad aspect of the issue is that his wife used to sell Waakye in their neighborhood but that has also been seized because her customers have refused to buy from her since the fridge storage killing happened.

Now, his wife is jobless and has been battling with one ailment after the other. Mr. Asuama Yeboah has expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare in the case so far. However, he believes that the case is being delayed and should be given a speedy hearing for the needed punishment to be given to Richard Appiah once found guilty. The birthday of their son is here, but he is not around to be celebrated. Mr. Asuama Yeboah is unable to have a party on behalf of his son because he is no more. He is also unable to cook some red meat and eat because the memory of the body of his son in the fridge is still fresh in his mind.
