The common type of bed Ghanaians know is the one made of wood and metal. But a man in Asamankese, Eastern Region has designed a bed made of concrete. This man is popularly known in Asamankese as Bullfalo. Some Ghanaians after coming across the pictures of this bed have shared their opinion on the advantages and the disadvantages.
A wooden bed is movable; you can dismantle it and used it at a different house, room or location. But this concrete bed is immovable. Once you designed it at a corner of your room, you cannot change the position of the bed or move it to a different room. In view of this, some Ghanaians said that this concrete bed can be used by house owners only. Tenants cannot design this permanent bed in someone's house.
Some Ghanaians said that this concrete bed is dangerous. They argued that even with the wooden one, you feel severe pains when you hit your head with the wooden part whiles sleeping. So imagine hitting your head by this concrete bed accidentally whiles sleeping.
Others said that technically, this bed is not safe. Imagine making love to your partner and unfortunately, she hits her head on the edge of this concrete bed. In view of this, some said that this bed will be good for lovemaking, it can bring a lot of problems. But some stated that aside from these disadvantages, this concrete bed look nice and will be affordable than wooden and metallic beds.
