According to reports, the two women involved in the act Joana Krah, aged 29; Susana Awortwe, aged 27 strstegised with Francis Eshun, aged 27 to fake a kidnap incident demanding a ransom of Five-Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 5,000.00).
After their strategy, the women urged the man to call the caretakers of Susana Awortwe and Joana Kra to demand a ransom. The father of Joana Awortwe Quickly went to the Police station to officially report.
Dampare's boys were made to scout the entire Takoradi township in search for the Susana Awortwe and Joana Kra.
When Joana realised that they were going to lose because her father was not ready to pay the ransom and had reported the matter to the Police, she reported herself to the Takoradi Divisional Police Command. She confessed of strategising the Kidnap with the others. According to her, she was only joking with her father.
She led the police to arrest the other woman and the only male. The police is putting them before the Takoradi Magistrates Court this morning.
