National Youth Authority Chief Executive Officer Pius Enam Hadzide today led a team from the Head Office to inspect progress of work at the Axim Youth Resource Center and held a site meeting with the consultants and contractor working on the project.
He started that he's happy to report that work on the phase 2 of the project has resumed in earnest and a revised schedule of work has been adopted. Where he announced that hopefully work on the Axim YRC should be completed before end of year.
He also visited the Axim office of the NYA to interact with staff and volunteers and called on the Municipal Chief Executive to facilitate the prompt resolution of some issues stalling the progress of work.
The MCE and MCD warmly welcomed them and took immediate steps to resolve the matters at issue and we are hopeful that the the construction of the remaining portions of the fence wall and main entrance will now proceed without further snag.
H.E. President Akufo-Addo’s intentionality of creating safe spaces for youth congregation and the development of talents shall continue unabated.
