This is very unusual in Ghana for our institutions of higher learning to experience a tragedy of such calibre on two separate events on the same day.
News developing from the campus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and Technology is not pleasant enough and has set the whole university community into a state of shock and astonishment.
Earlier this week a very hilarious news broke from same institution where two male students were engaged in a very deadly fight where the duo exchanged blows to the amazement of onlookers. Today's news from the is far from what happened earlier this week and had set the university community into disbelief.
Three KNUST students have sadly loss their lives on two separate incidences that occurred today on the campus of the university today.
The first incident happened at dawn at around 3:00am where a car believed to be carrying four KNUST students and a university of Ghana student crashed into a tree leading to the death of two of the four KNUST students on board the vehicle.
The second incident happened when a level 100 student visited a friend at the unity hall and allegedly passed out in the course of conversing with the colleague leading the his death.
He is said to have fallen from the first floor of the Hall when he passed out and died.
The university public relations officer has confirmed the sad incident to joynews and he also added that, the family of the students who have passed on have been informed about the sad news.
Our sincere condolences to their families and the entire KNUST students fraternity.
