Angry residents in Michael camp, Mataheko, Gbetsile, and other places under Kpone Katamanso stormed the Electricity Company of Ghana main office at Afienya this afternoon.
According to the residents they have not been able to recharge their prepaid meters for the past four days. Anytime they will go to buy prepaid from ECG centers they keep telling no network.
They can’t live without electricity because that is what they also depend on for their daily activities. According to residents, this has been going on for the past three months. They have sent their complaints to the ECG but nothing has been done.
Since the network has not been stable and nothing has been done, the only option left for them is to go to the main office of Electricity Company of Ghana which is located at Afienya and protest to get the result they are looking for.
