Following the very sad and gruesome incidence that occurred around Lamptey Mills area at Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana, lot of public concern has been raised and are expressing their view on what is due this sakawa teenagers.
On the 3rd April, 2021, two teenagers by the names, Felix Nyarko, 16, and Nicholas Kini, 18, secretly lured their very own neighbour's son, 11-year-old boy called Ishmael Abdallah and killed him all in the name of money ritual.
The heinous act by this boys hasn't been take lightly by the the Kasoa community and the nation at large.
The culprits were arrested and sent to Awutu Ofankor District Court on the 6th April and were charged with murder and attempt to kill.
The court, presided by Judge Rosemond Vera Ocloo remanded the two boys into the police custody and adjourned the case to 20th April, 2021.
Felix Nyarko and Nicholas Kini having no sympathy for the little boy by killing him in cold blood has called for their death as well by many.
Some hold the opinion that the court should order for them to be killed in order to deter others from committing same grievous crime or even the worse.
Others also want them to be imprisoned for life and not consider their age as they claim to be, because 16-18 years should under no circumstance have such wicked mindset to kill another for money.
