Life is not easy. A lot of young women decide to 'make out' with men for a living. Rent in cities is a major cause that 'forces' young women to 'sleep' with men in order to get money to pay the rent. These young women will usually overlook their circumstances and indulge in immoral acts for money. Well, most of the young ladies who 'sleep' with men for a living will likely 'mess' up their lives.
In a live interview with SVTV Africa, a young woman who identifies herself as Angela Owusu shares how rent issues in Accra may 'force' her to 'make out' with men in order to get money to pay. According to the young lady, she is 21 years old. She hails from Kumasi. Angela Owusu says after the death of her mother, life became difficult for her as she never knew her father.
According to Angela, her mother died leaving behind her four siblings and she has to take care of them. I have rented a house already for two weeks in Accra but it is too expensive and the job I do cannot help me to pay the rent says Angela Owusu.
'When my rent in Accra is due, I will start 'sleeping' heavily with men to get money. This is because that is the only way I can raise money for my rent even though it is not a good idea. I cannot also go back to my hometown because if I go I would still have to take care of my siblings. There are some ladies who are 'pushing' me to enter into that 'immoral' business so that I can pay my rent but I told them that I am not ready to indulge in it. 'Sleeping' with men is not good though but if it becomes the only option to get money to pay for my rent, I would not think twice to do it', Angela says.
According to the 21 year old, she needs a moderate place to stay in Accra and so she has to work to meet her needs. Angela Owusu also claims that if anyone is willing to support her she will be ready to accept the support so that she can be able to take care of her siblings. Please the full interview is below.
