E/R: XL Trust Aid poised to support the underprivileged, invest in community development

A non-governmental organisation (NGO), XL Trust Aid, will be launched on September 26, 2021 at Abompe in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region to help the underprivileged in society and invest in community development.

The event is expected to be attended by chiefs and people of Abompe, Dwenase Japomani, Hemang, Dome, Osino, and other surrounding communities.

Prior to the launching, there would be a cleanup exercise at the Abompe Community Hospital and Abompe market on September 25, 2021, and a donation of exercise books and stationery to schools within the district.

"Education should be the bedrock of every nation since it is one of the surest ways to unlock the secrets of success”, Madam Louisa Akua Bema Boakye, the Director of the NGO stated in an interview.

According to her, her greatest joy is putting smiles on people’s faces, so anything that will make an individual smile becomes her priority.

"I am therefore urging all well-meaning Ghanaians to support this laudable move so together, we all can help build mother Ghana and the future of the next generation" she added.

The event which is proudly supported by Zoomlion, Everpure Ghana Limited and NADMO will be graced by many dignitaries; Kofi Okyere Agyekum, Fanteakwa South Member of Parliament; Eric Bannerman, CEO of Gold Star Airline; Kwabena Attakora, a chartered accountant; the District Chief Executive for the district and many other invited guests.

Meanwhile, Dela Ashiagbor, Director of NGOs in Ghana, will the Guest speaker for the program.
