Newday host on Tv3, Jonnie Hughes has blasted persons responsible for the maintenance of the the Koforidua Jubilee Park. The Jubilee Park was built by Former President John Agyekum Kuffor to mark Ghana's 50th Independent Anniversary. Each region had one built in their regional capital.
In a video as an evidence to show that, the place is really in a bad shape showed that, yes the place needs to tackled with immediate effect before tax payers money ends in vain.
As a result of neglect, heavy cracks had developed all over the daises of the facility and its surroundings as well as the parade grounds are full of filth and weeds.
The poor drainage system, when it rains flood the facility and part of the roofing had ripped off, thereby had destroyed the lighting system.
Watch video here as TV3 describes the current state of the building.
This is how bad the tax payers monies are used in the country. The government get fine projects which will develop the country and yet do not complete such project. It gets rejected in the bushes and eventually loses its value.
This is not the first time, this is happening in the country. It happens each and every time.
This needs to be fixed with immediate effect.
