Today's rain floods makola mall car park

Flood is a natural disaster that occurs when an excessive water is collected at a particular place or dry land.

It normally occurs when it rains heavily at a place where water finds it very difficult to flow freely.

Floods have been one of the major problems we are experiencing in this country Ghana and have destroyed a lot of lives and properties especially at Accra here.

Makola market is one of the largest and popular market in Ghana and Africa as well. This market has a shopping mall containing about 2,000 shops and above with four car parks.

It rained a bit heavily this morning around 7:00am to almost 12:00pm and still drilling for now. This rain has flooded many places and has started flooding one of the car park of Makola Shopping Mall.

I'm there monitoring the situation for now and will bring you the outcome if the case turns critical.
