Four police officers have been interdicted for assaulting residents illegal connection. The four officials were assigned to assist VRA/NEDCO in arresting those people but not assault anyone.
The Ghana Police Service have taking the necessary steps to identify the victims for the necessary medical assessments and assistance.
There were viral videos on Facebook regarding how they were assaulting those victims as a lot of people showed their disappointment in the unprofessional acts from the 4 Police Personnel.
In a letter issued by the Ghana Police Service signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Kwesi Ofori, has apologized unconditionally to the victims and the general public.
The Four Police Personnel have been interdicted for now by the Ghana Police Service which means that, they have been ban as necessary actions shall be taking against them.
