Ace journalist and lawyer, Richard Dela Sky, has questioned the inability of security officers to arrest and prosecute Meek Mill for traffic offences.
“The first thing that should have happened when he appeared at the Jubilee House was to arrest him and prosecute him” he reminded the Ghana Police Service during the Citi CBS program on Citi FM.
The Philadelphia-based US Rapper, Robert Rihmeek Williams, was in the country as part of the government’s “Beyond the Return” initiative and also performed at the Black Star Line concert.
However, Meek Mill was captured in videos that have gone viral, dangerously riding a motorbike without a helmet with a passenger who likewise was also without a helmet.
According to Mr. Dela Sky, those acts infringe on the traffic regulations of Ghana and must consequently be punished regardless of who is involved.
“[He] Broke traffic regulations by riding motor without a helmet with a lady behind” he pointed out.
Meanwhile, the Dream Chasers Records’ boss has generated a much more controversy after videos that have gone viral, had him shooting a musical clip from some compartments and the frontage of the Jubilee House.
Meek Mill has since deleted the video from his social media handles.
