"My Best Friend Accused me of Sleeping With my Daughter's Hubby, She Led me in Jail" Woman Claims

Jacinta Wanjiku is a 62-year-old woman who has been in jail after her best friend, whom she helped when she was in need, accused her of sleeping with her daughter's husband. That was how her predicament began, and after trying to have a word with her, she was accused of brutally beating her up and the court found her guilt and sentenced her.

According to the woman, it was through one of her daughters that she met the woman. She helped her find a job. She took her as a sister and all her intentions towards her were good. She never knew that one day her good deeds would be used against her.

Rumors began to spread in the village that she was sleeping with her own daughter's husband. Something that was not true. The woman said her best friend, whom she helped spread the rumours, ran away from the village.

She wanted to settle everything amicably and vindicate herself, so she invited her daughter to follow her to the friend who spread the rumours that she was sleeping with her daughter's husband. On getting to her friend's house, she saw them and ran away.

As she was running, she fell down and injured herself. She called police on Jacinta and charged her with assault and attempting to take her life. That was how Jacinta was sentenced to prison for a crime she didn't commit.

Jacinta believes she has never questioned God's hand in her imprisonment since she has had an impact on the lives of many people in prison via her sermons.

For this reason, she has also counseled anyone who is contemplating committing a crime to avoid it at all costs.
