Renowned Radio Talk Show Host of Asempa FM, Phillip Osei Bonsu popularly called as O.B, has revealed that the People Republic of China has set a target of being the world's leading producer of cocoa by the year 2030. He made this revelation on Ekosii Sen, today 19th April, 2021.￼ Technology used by Chinese to dry cocoa
He said the Chinese have exported about five hundred thousand Kilograms (500,000) of cocoa to Belgium recently. He said, "we helping the Chinese to destroy our cocoa whiles they (Chinese) are busy developing technology to be used for quick drying of theirs". We all know how focused these Chinese are. They show great determination in doing difficult things".
OB's co-host, Omanhene added that, we could be importing chocolate from China in the next few years. "If care is not taken, the Chinese will produce chocolate which would be cheaper than ours and put all sorts of pressure on the ones we produce. The Swiss chocolate is already killing ours", he added.
"if we do not take care, good drinking water could be a problem for us in this country, by 2030".
