Yesterday, the alarming news about the truck explosion at Bogoso in the Western Region of Ghana got Ghanaians grieving. Just as we thought everything was going to be alright, another incident of explosion has been recorded this afternoon.
It is sad as to how two similar incidents have happened in just two consecutive days. Well, looking at today's incident, I think it is not as serious as compared to yesterday's own which wiped out a whole community.
Looking at the picture above, you do see that the tanker was already in flames and there was nothing which could be done about it. Many people are grieving over this incident since it gives them flashbacks of the terror which happened yesterday. Angel TV Ghana joined the train after reporting the incident on their social media platform
Well, a video of the incident has popped up on the social media and it is very saddening. I decided to post the link over here so you can check it out.
Listening to the words which came up in the video, you get to understand that the fire service showed up with no water in their tanks. I don't understand why we always keep on repeating these little mistakes. Why do you show up at a fire scene with no water in your tank? I think it is needless showing up if you know you have no help to offer.
Aside the issue of the fire service, one thing I noticed was the fact that people were still standing there when they knew they could do nothing. I was thinking they would learn from yesterday's incident but they proved me wrong. Some people never learn.
