The shootings in Ejura last week Tuesday, 29th June 2021 by the Ghana Armed Forces and Ghana Police Service claimed two lives on that day. Reports indicate that about 9 people got injured on that day and they were sent to Ejura government hospital. One of the injured was Mohammed Seal, the gentleman in your picture below.
Looking at the picture, the right leg of Mohammed Seal has been taken off by the doctors. One cannot tell the kind of injury he sustained on that Tuesday but it is so heartbreaking that a gentleman as young as he is could lose one leg due to a protest.
Most Ghanaians after coming across this sad picture reacted that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP) need to take responsibility and look after him till he can get some handiwork job to do. This is because if the soldiers were a little bit strategic, this man wouldn't have lost the leg.
There were many options available to the security services thus using hot water, tear gas, non-lethal weapons among others but they chose to use deadly bullets in their guns and shoot human beings like animals. This is all their fault and they must be compelled to take responsibility.

A Facebook user known as Nicholas Baiden reacted that "The State must take care of him till he can get a handiwork and simple job not involving job to do".
