We Are Traumatized And Living In Fear: Sad Report From Workers As Two Persons Were Shot Dead

Armed robberies and gun point crimes has now crept into the Ghanaian space over the years with lots of life and properties been relinquished with traumatic damage to victims of these circumstances making the country quite unsafe and uncertain for the preservation of life.

Some workers of the company who exclusively spoke to Citi News said they are traumatized. The Executive Director of the company, Prince Kwame Asamoah, who is calling for a full scale investigation wants security agencies to up their game.

“We are praying that our security will work on it so they can bring the perpetrators to book. It is very sad,” he said.

Meanwhile, some residents of Asaman Tamfoe who witnessed the daylight robbery say they are living in fear.

Police has in a statement said it is conducting an anti-robbery operation to arrest the suspects saying "Public Alert on an Anti-Robbery Operation in the Eastern Region.

"The Eastern Regional Police Command is pursuing a gang of six armed robbers who shot two persons at a mining facility at Asamang Tamfoe in the Eastern Region. The Anti-Robbery operation which is currently underway is being led by the Eastern Regional Police Commander".
