A colourful ceremony was held in honour of her by the Chief and People of Juapong on the in the North Tongu Constituency.
According or Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa, the British High Commissioner, H.E. Harriet Thompson gladly accepted her North Tongu title of "Mama Dunenyo I."
He thanked his elders and people for making the occasion a memorable one. He noted "I remain exceedingly proud of our chiefs and queens who jealously preserve our traditions and are ever supportive."
He further stressed that the occasion was part opof their tourism initiatives and that may our ancestral Ghana-UK ties continue to flourish in the mutual interest of our people.
