A reputable media platform in Ghana, Joy News has confirmed the bad news that hit the Ashanti Region, Kumasi precisely. The heartbreaking things happening in the region was reported and confirmed by the Joy News this morning, as one person was found dead after serious fire left many shops burnt down and parts of Asafo BB slum in Kumasi was destroyed as well.
At the time we confirmed and reporting this bad news that has hit the Ashanti region, the name of the deceased has not been made known to the general public but the family of the dead person has been interviewed. It was confirmed that the fire outbreak was caused by a particular couple in one of the shacks in that area, who were cooking and they unknowingly caused it.
However, the Ghana police fire service were invited but the situation has already gone beyond control as the damage has already been made. A lot of properties has been lost due to sad things happening i.e fire outbreak, but at the moment it is only a person that has been confirmed dead during the unfortunate incidence.
Meanwhile, a lot of residents has been displaced with no where to stay due to their houses/shacks being burned down in the course of the fire outbreak. We pray and hope they will get a better place to start again.
