The New Life Church Of Light in Konongo has been robbed of some properties belonging to the church. The burglar-proof gate at the church entrance had been destroyed and the church instruments, mixer and other things worth over GH₵ 10,000 were stolen.
A church member who lives close to the church, Kwabena Yeboah said that he saw a black Toyota car parked close to the church as he went to buy food yesterday evening. Whiles he was returning, he saw a young man standing close to the church and making a phone call.
The car left and return to where it was parked again. Kwabena said he became suspicious and took the car's number. He woke up this morning to the news that the church had been robbed of its properties.
He said this is the second time such a thing is happening to the church. The Police in Konongo have begun investigations and the car number Kwabena took could be of much help to them to catch the culprits.
