According to reports, the Elantra driver, parked his car to make a phone call beside the road and just after a few minutes, a motor rider who was carrying one person at his back came to hit his car accidentally fell on the other side of the road.
So a lady who was driving a Nissan Rogue from Koforidua to Bunsu ideally should have run on the two guys who fell after hitting the car with their motorcycle which was on a tough speed.
But the the woman boldly swerved in order to save this guys who were in the middle of the road plus their motorcycle. This made the lady loose control, her vehicle veered off the road and landed In a ditch.
Only the motorcycle rider and his passenger suffered some minor injuries and was rushed to the Akyem Tafo Government Hospital.
According to the passenger on the motorcycle, the motor rider was seriously making a phone call while riding and that is why he crushed with the Hyundai car.
From my own analysis, another factor that saved the accident victims was that, there were no trees, no light poles and no stores or containers along the road.
The story would have been very pathetic if there were to be containers, stores, light poles or any thing which could have become an obstacle along the road.
I would like to use this opportunity to advise people to desist from placing containers and shops very closer to the road.
