Despite how alleged killer Richard Appiah's case has become the talk of the town, another replica of 'Richard Appiah' was beaten to pulp today after a failed baby kidnap attempt. According to the details reaching us, it was confirmed that the young who is said to be in his 20's tried to kidnap a 3years old baby but unfortunately for him the residents of the community were at alert.

However, the heartbreaking incidence took place at Odeneho Kwadaso, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region after he attempted to steal a three-year-old baby and everything was exposed after the residents discovered what his mission was all about.

It was quick for social media users to connect the dot to Richard Appiah who happens to be the prime suspect in the Abesim murder case and the young man was quickly called a replica of Richard Appiah. And they have further call for swift action against the young man whose identity is yet to be revealed to the general public.

The residents were smart to catch him and his planned strategy to kidnap the baby as it all turns sour for him because he was almost beaten to death by the irate residents. This happened today amidst the several bad news of Abesim murder flying around headlines, and it only took the police intervention to save the young man from the angry residents who were ready to beat him to death.

He has been taken to the police station for further investigation and proper questioning. And there is no doubt that he will face the law.

What can you say about the rampant kidnapping and ritual case in the country?. Are we safe?.
