Two suspected thieves has been arrested at the Korlebu teaching hospital in the hours of 2-3am Saturday night on 22nd May 2021. These two males whose name are not yet out were arrested for stealing 14 units of blood from the Korlebu blood bank. Reports confirms that the two pretended to be Doctors and dressed like surgical doctors in their lab coat, they then entered the Korlebu surgical ward and made away with 14 units of Blood, on their attempt to make away with the last 3 units of blood a nurse monitoring their movement alerted the security men, which these two suspects were confronted and arrested by the security guard. They two suspect arrived with a 2018 registered matiz car and had already deposited 11 Blood units into the car.
Reports from the Hospital indicates that, these blood were to be used for surgeries later in the day, we thank God these two suspect has been arrested and handed over to the police for investigation.
