
Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo, who is the Overlord of the Wala Traditional Council has recently spoken about the viral video which saw the flogging of some young persons allegedly involved in sexual misconduct.
According to him, the act could only drag the reputation of his highly respected palace into dishonor. It was reported that the incident happened at Wa Naa’s Palace.
The Spokesperson of the revered chief, Jinpehi Naa, Naa Kadri Ibrahim told the media that the flogging of the two persons happened in the absence of the Wa Naa, and he the Spokesperson. He also added that none of the principal Chiefs was also around at the time of incidence.
According to the Spokesperson, whoever decided to have the two alleged persons flogged have violated the law and must be arrested and prosecuted.
