The heavy rains that fell this afternoon has caused a lot of people who lives in some nucleated parts of ACCRA to be very stranded as their area gets flooded.

Around 3pm today on Thursday, February 25, 2021 a heavy rainfall started at many parts of Accra which has lead to the cause of the flood.
Kaneshie, North Industrial Area, First light, Kwame Nkurumah Circle are some of the major areas that were strongly affected.
The over one hour downpour has displaced sellers, drivers and Communicator around the Kwame Nkurumah Circle.
Residents at these areas are now busily draining out the flood from their various houses.
Another busy place that has been flooded is the Kwame Nkurumah Vehicular traffic has been blocked at the Kwame Nkurumah interchange.
We encourage the public to use good drainage systems, do not build on water bodies and stop dumpling waste into gutters in other to avoid flood.
