Court To Hear Application For Bail Pending Appeal For Akuapem Polo On Wednesday.

The Criminal Division of the Accra High Court will, on April 21, rule on application for bail forthcoming allure documented by legal advisors of Akuapem Poloo.

Andrews Kudzo Vortia, legal counselor for the imprisoned socialite, on Monday documented a notification of allure and application for bail against the entertainer's custodial sentence simultaneously.

Akuapem Poloo, authoritatively known as Rosemond Brown, was condemned to 90 days in jail on every one of the three charges in the wake of confessing to them, however the court said, the sentences are to run simultaneously.

The legal counselor said the condemning was brutal and a non-custodial sentence would have been ideal.

"… That the ninety (90) days sentence is short to such an extent that if the candidate isn't conceded to bail quickly when the allure is heard, she would have wrapped up carrying out the punishment.

"That the Convict/Appellant conceded simpliciter and was indicted on her own request and all in all and condemned to ninety (90) days IHL all checks to run simultaneously.

"That I am exhorted by Counsel and verily accept so to be genuine that there has been a grave unsuccessful labor of equity and that the preliminary adjudicator blundered in thinking about just disturbing variable in showing up at her choice," part of the movement for bail expressed.

Then, some Ghanaian famous people have requested of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to allow Akuapem Poloo pardon.

The appeal on Change.org, a well known request site used to request support for crusades, has been made under the name Ghana's Creative Industry with some Ghanaian VIPs and socialites sharing the connections for their fans to sign it on the web.

It has assembled more than 28,000 marks.
