The development occured after an argument between the group o people at an entertainment ground in the community. Explaining issues by an eyewitness within the community, he stated that the deceased by name Seidu Wahidu was having having an argument with some two men he did not identify but in the middle of the disagreements in the night, Seidu was stabbed by one of them after which they went into hiding. Police within the Wa East District have since visited the scene to access the magnitude of the development. The Paramountcy of the Area have also forwarded the issue to the overlord of the Waala Traditional area, Naa Fuseini Pelpuo IV for his final comments on the issue whilst they await the conclusions of the Police.
Several people have also expressed shock on Social Media as this is the second time such a thing is happening in the region in a Month.
According to Abdul Mumuni Ishmael "Hmmmmnnn what is happening in the Region. Is it that the region is in a cursed or what".
A twenty nine year-old man by name Faisal Muniru was stabbed by a friend, Ziad Osman to death with a jackknife at Wa the capital of Upper West Region.
This was after the two had a misunderstanding.
It was however unclear what resulted in the misunderstanding, but information available proved that Ziad Osman threatened to kill Faisal Muniru when they had the argument.
On his way to make an official complaint at the police station about his death threat, Faisal Muniru met Ziad Osman on the way where the suspect attacked him and stabbed him on his chest.
It was reported that the knife broke into the chest of the victim and he was rushed to the Upper West Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
However, the suspect who tried to escape from the Region was busted by the police and currently assisting the police with investigations.
