A Woman believed to in her early 30s 0>I'maccident on the Afienya road near EMEFS Estate in the Tema Municipality.
The accident occurred near the Motorway Roundabout on the Afienya stretch on Wednesday 25th May 2022.
The accident involves a Howo tipper truck with registration number GN-1926-15 which was loaded with gravels and heading towards Tema crushed in to a Toyota Hiace with registration number GN-578-22.
The tipper fell on the watermelon seller killing her instantly as she was trapped inside,the driver of the tipper truck was also trapped, but he was rescued by personel of the Motorway Fire station who came to the scene.
The injured driver was taken by an ambulance and sent to the Tema General Hospital for treatment, whiles the loveless body of the deceased was handed over to the Police MTTD for further investigations.
Both the tipper truck and the Toyota Hiace were badly damaged.
