A terrible accident that happened on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Akuse junction which is on the road from Tema to Akosombo has claimed two lives.
This terrible accident which hapened in the evening around :25 pm involved a Mercedes Benz Sprinter with the registration number with the registration GT, 087-15.
According to reports, the driver was on a very tough speed when he accidentally entered into deep porthole which made him loose control.
As a result of loosing control, the car veered of it lane and entered into the bush nearby. The driver tried as hard as he could but all his efforts turned no avail.
The Mercedes Benz Sprinter finally crushed with a big tree in the bush whish uprooted the tree from the ground into the air and land on the car.
Two male passengers who were seated on the front passenger seat beside the driver died on the spot whilst the driver especially and many passengers sustained severe injuries.
