Family breaks into tears over the will of a 61-year old man

In 1985, the late Owusu Bonnie's wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, that rock the entire Ntonso Aboaso town. The woman did not survive the labour, and died in the process. Bonnie did not hold the news well and went mad for three days, before becoming his normal self again. After the three days, was when Bonnie remembered about his son, but he was in good hands. The sister of Bonnie, Akoto was there when the incident happened, and whiles Bonnie was misbehaving at the hospital over the death of his wife, she called few close relatives to come to his aid, while she waited for the midwife to come back with a comprehensive report.

Akoto took the now Johnie, the son of Bonnie when the midwife brought news of the child surviving, whiles the mother died. Johnie was taken care by Akoto, and she covered him and sent him to her house. Akoto was living in a different town, and was a married woman. Akoto's husband knew the child was Bonnie's child and never talked about. Akoto never talked about it too. After the third day Johnie has been with Akoto, Bonnie had a serious talk with her, for saving the child that night. If it wasn't for Akoto, Johnie would have died.

Bonnie made a critical call on the third day of the passing of his wife, with Akoto, that made the birth secrecy of Johnie to be kept in peace. None of the family members knew whether the child survived or died, along with the mother. Bonnie agreed that night that, he cannot take care of the child and might end up killing the child, he will one day marry again because he cannot live as single man for the rest of his life. So Akoto who has been struggling to have a child in her marriage, should rather keep the child as her own. They arranged for people to believe the story, and Bonnie prevented Akoto from coming closer to the family, and behaving like she was pregnant for a month.

Akoto kept herself indoors for eight months, and came back for everyone to see she has delivered, and that made the news of Johnie becoming the son of Akoto. Only Akoto, her brother Bonnie and the spirit around them, knew that truth and no one did. Akoto's husband had an accident five years time, and died, and Akoto never card to marry again. Johnie was named after his uncle Bonnie, because of his resemblance to him. Bonnie helped Akoto throughout everything, when her husband passed away, on the eve of Johnie's birthday. Nobody in the family knew anything again, until the passing of Bonnie last year 2020.

Bonnie whiles alive had three other children with his new wife, and did his best to bring Johnie closer to them, because he was his nephew. Johnie took all his financial situation from his uncle, whiles growing up. He never in a day went tired of his uncle's hand in supporting him, and his mother Akoto. Bonnie had a stroke on the 15 December 2020, and died on the 30. It was a real tragedy for the family, but everything was settled peaceful. Akoto could not allow Bonnie to be buried without telling the news, the real identity of Johnie, so he can be included in the sharing of his father's properties.

Akoto on yesterday, Friday 19 March 2021, stood up to narrate the scenes surrounding Johnie's birth that made Bonnie to give him to her for safe keeping. They wanted to protect his identity in that sad moment that brought about the death of his mother, and Bonnie couldn't afford looking to her Akoto struggle without a child in her marriage, so he used that moment to give her Johnie. Nobody argued, when the news of Johnie's birth was made open to everyone.

Akoto stood up after the lawyers of Bonnie read his will, in the will which was edited on 5 June 2018, saw Akoto and Johnie getting 40% of properties of Bonnie, whiles the other three children and the wife of Bonnie got the remaining 60%. People believed Akoto was a gold digger who wanted to justify why his brother will give her such huge properties, but Akoto proved them wrong when she revealed the true identity of Johnie as Bonnie's first son.

From the other three children to the wife of Bonnie, and the family, no one could alter a word after Akoto narrated what happened to them in 1985. In the will, Bonnie kept using the word, To My First Son and To The Rest Of My Children. To My First Son, this goes to you, was heard so much in the will. Bonnie started with advice, giving his first son advice of bringing the whole family together, and never allowing anything to separate them. Akoto wanted to clarify the air, when the first son of Bonnie's new wife claimed the first son tag was for Alfred. Alfred is the first son of Bonnie, and his new wife Serwaa, and Akoto proved them that Alfred wasn't the one been referred to in the will as The First Son. And Alfred was part to the target And To The Rest Of My Children. The confusion could not be settled, until Akoto narrated the birth of Bonnie, until everyone understood it.

Johnie and Akoto got the car Bonnie was using which many thought was to go to the wife, but To My First Son tag settled the whole argument of Johnie's entitlement. Johnie got additional GH¢124,000 to start a family business for all the children, whiles the wife got the house, and a Hyundai Elantra she has been driving throughout their marriage. The wife got GH¢6,000 trust fund in addition to the house. Akoto got respect, from everyone in the family, when she stood to get Johnie his share. All the properties would have gone to the children and wife, if Akoto hadn't made the call to speak to and reveal Johnie wasn't her biological child.
