Wonders shall never end until the world come to end. Information gathered indicates that a young guy in his late 20s, who operates a passenger tricycle popularly known as "pragya" has done the unthinkable as he slaughtered a stolen goat in the washroom of a mosque.
The incident happened yesterday Thursday June 10, 2921 around 10.a.m at Damongo Attributo in the West Gonja Municipal of the Savannah Region.
This was confirmed in the news this morning on Bole base Nkilgi 103.7FM, and according to the report, the suspect was apprehended by a corn mill operator who spotted the suspect with an ablution can as if he came to the Mosque for Muslim 'Nafila' (non regular) prayers around 10:00am.
Shortly he saw blood flowing from the washroom of the Mosque and wondered why.
Due to curiosity, he therefore pretended as if he didn't see the alleged thief but timed him until he later came with tricycle to move the meat out of the washroom of the big Mosque.
He quickly raised an alarm and the suspected goat thief was apprehended and paraded through the area with the goat on his head.
According to people familiar with the suspect said, his late father was a respected Muslim elder and they wondered what triggered him into such negative life style, bring disgrace onto the family more especially his late father.
