Death is an inevitable predicament and everyone in life in one way or the other is aware of this fact. Some people make preparations towards their death by sharing their property in Wills signed at the court in preparation for that unknown day.
Death is a cause that no one looks out for, but when it comes, necessary preparations are made to cater for its festivities.
Today, a sad development has hit the doorstep of the vice president of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia. The death of one of the most important personalities in his life has hit him with shock. The mother of the vice president has passed on.
Bella Mundi was quick to post the story on her Twitter page and it went viral in just eleven minutes as at the time of the writing of this article. You can check the minutes at the end of Bella's name in the post below.
Hajia Mariama is the name of the vice president's mother. Her death, according to the post occured today. According to the tradition of certain communities and belief systems, when one passes away to the other side of life, the family has to meet and make deliberations as to when the person should be buried. But in the case of the mother of the vice president, her religion does not allow for that deliberation time. Since she is Muslim, she must be buried just some hours after her death. But the vice president's office has announced Tuesday, 14th September 2021 as the burial date. The funeral would take place at Walewale. Wysopera believes that this is because certain dignitaries must be invited to grace the occasion otherwise, she could have been buried today.
In another social media reaction, Ghanaians wonder why the mother of the president was uploaded in NPP party colours.
Akua shared her condolences on the post, but Patick Koku wondered why she is posted in a party coloured attire.
Does the fact that she is in party colours raise a concern?
