Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo is currently on a two-day tour to the Western Region. So far, he has visited Wassa Dompim, Shama, Esaima, Dixcove, Tarkwa, Bogoso, and Wassa Akropong. He commissioned some factories in fulfillment of his one district one factory promise. As usual, he publicized his activity on his Facebook page and Ghanaians took to it to comment. One news post that Nana Addo shared on his page that received massive reactions is the one that disclosed that he has cut sod for the construction of a 67 km Agona-Tarkwa road.
As pleasant as the news sounded, some Ghanaians descended on Nana Addo for his constant cutting of sod but yet no work on the ground. One example is the Tema Kpone industrial area road which was supposed to happen last year. Another one is the Bawdie Asankragua road. The list never ends. Someone referred to Nana Addo as the 'Lord of Sod Cutting' and explained how tired he was of this current government as to the rate at which they cut sods.
