Barcelona are desperate to return to their heydays after consecutive seasons of dismal performances. The club hierarchy are reportedly worried about the clubs dwindling domestic and European performances and are poised to make the necessary changes to get the team back to winning ways. The Catalan giants are set to bring a number of marquee players to the Camp Nou this summer in order to strengthen and increases their squad depth.
According to popular spanish news outlet, Barca Blaugranes, Barcelona transfer team are working on four major transfers and intend announcing them in the coming weeks. Barcelona first two signings this summer were confirmed prior to the end of the season with paperworks expected to be finalised in the coming days. Manchester City duo, Sergio Kun Aguero and Eric Garcia are all set to join Barcelona for free this summer.
Sergio Aguero had offers from several clubs including English giant, Chelsea. However the Argentine was keen to reunite with his compatriot Lionel Messi which saw him opt for Barcelona.
Barcelona is also poised to welcome Brazilian right back, Emerson Royal who had a fruitful loan spell at Spanish outfit, Real Betis last season. The fourth player expected to join Barcelona soon is former Olympique Lyon striker, Memphis Depay, who happens to be one of Ronald Koeman's primary target. Barcelona would enlist the quartet for free which appears to be a good business for the club considering thier dire financial situation.
