A number of players from AshantiGold and Inter Allies have been banned over a match fixing scandal in 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.
“Football in Africa is not like football in Europe and even player who retire from football move into other things because of the life span of football which is short, you can’t put all your energy into it. “So I keep telling players that anything can happen, issues of injury can set in so players should always have a plan B.
“This is the time players can start with their coaching badges even if their ban you cannot do anything related to football, they can use this time to study, finish all their badges, within the next two to three years, they will be license A coaches. “And their experience that they’ve had, they can put in place.” Abel Manomey told Radio Gold TalkSport.
