Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Lamptey has returned to training days ahead of their next game on Sunday after a couple of games off.
The player returned to training on Tuesday after being given the all clear by the clubs medics after sustaining an injury in their game with Karela United.
The player has been out since, but, the good news for the Kotoko faithful is that he has been declared fit to play.
This will come as good news for head coach Prosper Nartey Ogum as his side has lacked creativity in the middle of the park in his absence.
The gaffer will continue to monitor his development as they prepare for their game with Aduana FC on Sunday.
Lamptey will hope to be part of the Kotoko squad for Sunday's game as they seek to win this season's championship.
The Porcupines are nine points ahead of the competition with seven matches to end the campaign and, they are the huge favourites to win the diadem this season.
Coach Ogum will need all of his trusted arsenal to be fit and healthy as they seek a record extending 25th GPL title.
