Not only Aduana Stars FC there has been a couple of clubs that have got contractual issues with their coaches leading to their exit. Aduana Stars head coach, Samuel Paa Kwasi Fabian, vacates his post at the Dormaa Ahenkro based premiership club upon expiration of his contract. Fabin penned down a one-year contract as the head coach for Aduana Stars in February 2020. Paa Kwasi Fabin's contract with the Aduana Stars expired on Sunday, 14th February, 2021 and has declined to renew his stay at the club.
According to Kickgh.com source close to the former Black Starlets manager Samuel Paa Kwasi Fabian has hinted us that the mass exodus of dependable charges coupled with non-recruitment of his targeted players had been the major factor for his exit from the ‘Ogya Boys’ this term.
Reports has it that the management of the club have been unavailable to acquire the services of some of the players the coach has recommended while some notable key players have been allowed to leave the club. This is understood he has been left unhappy with the club’s hesitation in strengthening his squad after several pleads for the club’s management to bolster his squad with new faces.
Citi Sports has been told, Aduana have made desperate last ditch moves to have him rescind his decision to quit. According to Citi Sports sources, the club handed the former Kotoko trainer a cash amount equivalent to his 3-month salary in hope of getting him to stay. He is yet to communicate a decision to the club. The former Asante Kotoko and Black Starlets gaffer contract comes to an end in next month after taking over in February last year but has decided not to renew his stay with the club.
The situation of financial difficulty has swept the clubs in Ghana that has made some good names for themselves some years past in the League and winning laurels as well. But players exodus has been the problem of late with the league to get quality and standard players for fans to patronize the stadium. Because Caleb Amankwaah’s contract ended this month and the club refused to renew it despite the coach making known his desire to keep the defender. According to reports in the local media, the former WAFA defender is on the verge of joining Legon Cities. Left-back, Justice Anane has already left the club with defender Farouk Adams who is also yet to renew his contract due to financial constraints facing the club at the moment.
