Referee denies Ronaldo's Goal
it's a lot of talks but the mistake of a referee deprives Portugal of victory against Serbia in the world cup qualifies. The Portuguese were in a comfortable lead (2-0) in the first half of the game. But unfortunately for the Portuguese, they resumed 2-2 in the second half. At the later part of the game, when the match was about ending, Christiano Ronaldo, as we know did what Ronaldo does best. He pushed the ball towards the net, the ball rolls and crosses the the line but it is cleared by Mitrovic. The referee then denies the goal saying that the ball had not crossed the line completely. This mistake of the referee derived Portugal of their three points. According to selector Fernando Santos, the referee apologized to him saying he felt very ashamed. All this happened because of the absence of VAR in this match.
