Good news for Hearts of Oak defender as club offers him improved contract ahead of next season

Accra Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan has been offered a new and improved contract to remain at the club and beat of competition for his services from other quarters.

The Phobians have confirmed that the Ghana international is happy with this offer and development and, has put pen-to-paper ahead of the start of the new season.

Alhassan, had a couple of months to end the deal he first signed for the capital club from academy lads WAFA four years ago.

He will now remain at the club going forward with the new campaign set to start next month.

“I am happy here at Hearts of Oak. The club gave me a huge platform which has propelled me to where I find myself now," Alhassan told the club's media.

He added: "We have been one great family. The gesture from the club is amazing. What it tells me is that if I continue working hard more of such good gestures will come my way.” 

He continued by saying that: "My dedication and commitment to the club are unwavering. The truth is, my dedication will not be shaken and my love for the club is still high. I thank the club for the improved contract and like I always do, I will continue to do my best for this great club.”

Alhassan, has been a pivotal force at the heart of Hearts' defence since he joined the club and, has enjoyed rare reviews throughout.

He will look to build on this performance as he begins a new adventure in the capital with Hearts of Oak looking for improve on their output of last season.
