Daniel Sturridge, the former Liverpool target man is looking forward to a return to the English Premier League next season. The 30 year old Trabzonspor striker hasn't really enjoyed his stay with his Trabzonspor after he was banned for four months for breaching the FA's gambling rules.
During his days at Liverpool, he formed a trio with Luis Suarez and Rahim Sterling. This trip tormented defenders on any good day. He helped Liverpool to clinch the UEFA champions league last year.
"I believe I've got a lot to give to the premier League and I would say that's my first choice.I do feel I have unfinished business so I would like to go back and play there." These where the words Daniel Sturridge uttered in a recent interview.
The question now is which premier league side will be willing to pen down the signature of the former Liverpool star man. One disadvantage of signing him is that he is prone to injuries.
He is not so reliable as he sustains injuries a lot of times. I highly doubt that his former side Liverpool will be willing to have him back as they have one of the best trio upfront in the world. Nevertheless "lower" side teams such as Aston villa will be the best destination for him because they don not really pressure their players to perform but they still play good football.
