Black Princesses Can Now Qualify To the Quarter Final Despite Conceding 5 Goals In 2 Matches

The Netherlands U20 National Women's team have given the Black Princesses of Ghana a second chance to qualify to the quarter finals of the 2022 U20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica.

The Black Princesses have played two matches and the end results are extremely poor. Their first game against USA ended in a 3-0 in favor of the USA. And their second game also ended in a 2-0 score in favor of Japan, so they have played 2 games but have conceded 5 goals.

Some Ghanaian football fans had earlier on thought that they have been eliminated or will be eliminated when the United States of America U20 women's team score the Netherlands.

Of course the Black Princesses could have been eliminated if USA had won but fortunately for the Black Princesses, the Netherlands U20 defeated the USA U20 3-0 in last night's encounter.

Now the only team that has qualified in the group D is the defending champions, Japan. They have 6 points, the Netherlands and USA have 3 points each and Ghana have no point.

But with last night's result, Ghana have been given another lifeline or a second chance to qualify to the quarter finals. The Black Princesses will play with the Netherlands on the 17th of August, 2022 at exactly 11:00 pm GMT. A win with at least 5 goals for the Black Princesses will help them to proceed to the quarter finals. This will happen if the Japanese win their last game against USA.
