January is just around the corner and as has always been teams are exploiting opportunities to beef up their existing squad. Manchester City and Ac Milan are of course no exceptions.
AC Milan have been on some top form in the current Italian league as evident with their current position as league leaders. Nonetheless the Italian outfits still feel they could be more and are thus looking forward to acquire the service of Barca’s young talent Riqui Puig.
Many have been shocked as to why a talented 21 year old boy who’s run through the ranks at Barca right to the top will be on the bench. There’s been issues here and there. Most prominent of them being that Ronald Koeman does not see the young man as part of his long term plan as Barca coach and has asked him to find some other club, even though Riqui has stated he will not leave but rather fight for his position in the team.
Some rumors also has it that Riqui Puig has issues with the dressing room primarily because of his bad attitude towards training and towards senior members of the club. But who will take this ..? Definitely not Barca fans because they see the exact opposite.
The young man is yet to play a full match for the Catalonians this season. It is for this lack of play time for such a talent that both Manchester City and AC Milan want to capitalize a move for the young Barca ace.
The Barca board and fans at large see Riqui as a future player for Barca and thus will only let him leave on loan basis. Both AC Milan and City are yet to make a formal loan offer for the talent. Let’s see what happens in these few days.
