South Africa coach Hugo Broos hails improved performance after Ghana win

South Africa mentor Hugo Broos has lauded his side's further developed presentation following the 1-0 win over Ghana in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Broos' side were dreary in their first match of the qualifiers as they attracted 0-0 with Zimbabwe Harare last Friday.

The Belgian realized they couldn't rehash such a presentation against solid adversary Ghana and charged them to improve, which they did.

Bafana overwhelmed Ghana and deservedly succeeded at the FNB Stadium on account of forward Bongokhule Hlongwane late strike.

"I'm extremely pleased and cheerful today," Broos said. "We have gained huge headway in multi week. At the point when I saw my group play against Zimbabwe, there was no assurance or faith in themselves, yet what I saw today was a group with certainty.

"We played an awesome game, there was assurance, the will to win and train. That is the thing that I like.

"We have four (focuses) from six, and I said before that in the event that we have that from these two games I will be extremely cheerful. We will check whether we can go on this way and gain ground as we did for this present week, and afterward see where we will wind up toward the finish of the race."

Bafana are next in real life with home and away qualifiers against Ethiopia one month from now.
