ACCRA WAR: Great Olympics File Protest Against Hearts Of Oak [PHOTOS]

Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics will file a counter-protest against their city rivals Accra Hearts Of Oak.


This comes after Hearts Of Oak had filed a protest against Olympics for fielding an unqualified player during their second leg league game at the Accra Sports Stadium.


In response, the "Dade" club is accusing Hearts Of Oak of age cheating and unqualified registration of midfielder Emmanuel Nettey.


They believe that Emmanuel Nettey is way above his current age of 24 with evidence.

The result of the earlier protest filed by the Phobians has not yet been submitted by the Disciplinary Committee Of The Ghana Football Association as a decision in favor of Hearts will cause Great Olympics to lose six points to Hearts despite the game-ending one all.


The two teams have met twice this season with Oly winning the first leg of the league in Accra before sharing spoils in the second leg.


There is still an opportunity for the two teams to meet I'm MTN FA Cup as it enters round 32 stages.
